Sure, that’s absolutely fine. I’m actually planning to do some stuff more directly relevant to the Japanese view of World War II and the cynical decision on the part of the leadership to make use of this Pan-Asianist feeling, but I need to do a lot of research first because there isn’t much out there in English.
